Our Mission
This can be found at the beginning of the Band’s “Rules of Association”. . .
The Mount Barker District Concert Band, Incorporated is formed:
To provide an Association for like-minded people for the training, discipline and presentation of music to the communities of Mount Barker District and surrounding districts.
To promote music within the Mount Barker District.
To foster and train musicians.
To encourage a standard of excellence in performance.

The Mount Barker District Concert Band and Big Band rehearse on Wednesday evenings during school terms (with a mid-year 2-week break). Rehearsals take place in the Mount Barker Town Hall, 34-38 Gawler Street, Mount Barker SA 5251. Members arrive at 7 PM to set up and rehearse from 7.15 PM to 9.30 PM.
